Now Even Social Security Could Be Harmed

By:  Doug Busselman, Executive Vice President

There has been a lot of hot air coming out of Washington, D.C. recently, preparing for the what seems to be a Friday vote in the U.S. House on the Waxman-Markey Cap and Tax proposal, designed to punish citizens for their use of energy and gather tax dollars for the keepers of the planet to use in protecting us all from America's affluence.

In this Washington Post "Capitol Briefing" piece, Lori Montgomery reports that this legislative proposal might also have an impact, harming Social Security.

When our elected representatives decide to vote on the Cap and Tax plan, it will be good for us to pay close attention to those who decide that voting in support of destroying what's left of our economy is more important keeping things as they are.
