An Eye On An Emerging Issue

Following the July 4th Tea Party in Reno, I received an e-mail encouragement for contacts with our U.S. Senators on a proposal for an audit to see where the stimulus money went. As we might expect, the proposal in the Senate to seek and find whatever became of all those dollars, ran into some “procedural problems”, as pointed out in this piece.
Although we haven’t been following the details of S. 604 and this effort to have our “transparent government” actually trace where the money went and what we got for the spending spree that we and future generations will be paying for – it is an idea worth circulating around, maybe some candidates from the U.S. Senate, up for election might be asked about why they aren’t supporting this idea…
