As our elected representatives in Washington, D.C. continue their work to bring us the wonderful benefits of a nationalized health care system, the troubling details of how to pay for it seem to be causing some consternation. This account presents some details that we should pay attention to in order to better understand the actual facts when they get around to pulling a rabbit out of the hat in magically finding a solution.
I was also quite impressed with the ability of our U.S. Senator, when he decides that he wants to, sending a very strong signal on how something will be done – or not. It would be great to have that same commitment to doing the right thing on a few more issues of importance…S. 787 to think of one.
