Regardless of the way that leaders of the majority party in the U.S. House and U.S. Senate want to spin it, the Waxman-Markey legislation coming out of the U.S. House and the version under consideration in the U.S. Senate is going to be an economy-killing anchor that will do further damage to an all ready over taxed private sector.
We appreciate the information work being carried out by a host of advocates, documenting the details of how the Climate Change legislation will negatively impact various sectors of the country’s wealth-creating enterprises. Tracy Taylor Grondine of the American Farm Bureau Federation recently added her insights into the mix and we’d like to commend it to you for your review.
I also thought this posted radio feed from the Kansas Farm Bureau, featuring U.S. Senator Inhofe, one of the chief opponents in the U.S. Senate as being worth a listen. It was also noteworthy to have the Senator describe the hoax of the Cap-and-Trade as really nothing more than a tax, hidden in a green package, for the unwitting to welcome.
Despite the challenge of dealing with the pre-determined result that U.S. Senator Harry Reid and his like-minded associates in the U.S. Senate want to obtain, we must be prepared with as much information as we can possibly acquire and we must involve every man, woman, child and pet, capable of expressing a logical point of view, in the work of holding our elected U.S. Senator’s feet to the real fire of what they are going to do – if they proceed to enact the Cap-and-Trade boondoggle being considered.
