Stealing Is A Justifiable Action -- Big Government Costs Big Bucks

By: Doug Busselman, Executive Vice President

The ram it through process continues for the agenda of change and we’re starting to see that the benefits for some will definitely be dumped on the shoulders of a few.  The outright war on wealth is taking shape in front of our eyes with our elected officials blatantly believing that they can get away with robbing from some to enrich their hold on a majority of entitled.

If you are not one of the “richest 2 million taxpayers” are you supposed to stand meekly by and go on about your life thinking that there’s nothing wrong with what our Congressmen and Senators are contemplating?  The class warfare strategy should not be tolerated, no matter what socioeconomic sector you fit in.

Government stealing from some to give to others (routing it through their command and control mechanisms on the way) is just plain wrong.

Ever since the Obama campaign got underway, flying the banner of “Change” there were questions on what that meant.

I guess we know now what “Change” means.
  • First you spend unimaginable amounts of federal dollars, pouring it into specially selected ear-marks and “investments” for your own political gain.  While you’re doing this, you blame all problems on and vilify the person who occupied the White House for the last two-terms (even though it’s actually Congress who decides how much is spent and what it is spent on).
  • Then you have the federal government take over control of major sectors of the economy – banks and automobile manufacturing operations.
  • You use invented problems (like Global Climate Change) to stimulate a need to do something about further expanding government control and making it a legitimate course of action to spike energy prices to make alternative energy a more cost-comparable option.
  • And while you’ve got the mixture boiling, you rush to save us from a “health care crisis” that you formulated as a must fix dilemma requiring further expansion for government control (deciding who gets what health benefits) and further acquisition of revenue from those you’ve deemed obligated to pay.

I can now honestly say, “We’ve tried ‘Change’ and it’s not a good thing.”

Your post reminds me of this quote -

A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until a majority of voters discover that they can vote themselves largess out of the public treasury.
    Alexander Tytler

I know we don't live in a straight democracy but it's still very applicable.

Let's hope that America realizes that just because the government can take money from the rich, doesn't mean we should or that it's right to.
