In the midst of the Washington, D.C. legislative activities for nationalizing health care insurance and seeking to pass an energy tax bill oriented to forcing us to pay more for energy sources with linkages to carbon, it sounds like the champions for bigger government are also wanting to establish a greater emphasis on using regulatory authority to choke us into submission.  This alert points out that the political forces of greater federal dominance are planning to move forward on installing Cass Sunstein as the nation’s Regulatory Czar. 

There seems to be no shortage of the effort being put forth to expand the reach and control of the federal government.   It would serve us well to recognize these on-going steps for expansion and respond with not only indignation, but also in organized, grassroots activities to use the ballot box in November of 2010 to un-elect those who press this agenda forward.
