Animal Agriculture Clearly In The Crosshairs Of Those Planning “Change”
By: Doug Busselman, Executive Vice President
As animal agricultural producers deal with fending off animal rights advocates who have the mission of completely wiping animal agriculture out of existence, other anti-animal agricultural zealots are working to position even more land-mines for use in an all-out attack against raising livestock for food. Those who hope to exert the use of government control mechanisms under the auspices of climate change are coming forth with their messages of the need for action. As we see here, the alleged real problem all along is animal agriculture and it’s only going to get worse if something isn’t done.
This approach of identifying animal agriculture as the culprit will likely be picked up by our friends at the Environmental Protection Agency as they seek further leverage to grasp greater amounts of control within their bureaucratic iron-fists. Now in addition to their let’s pretend there is pollution (even if there isn’t actually any) for Confined Animal Feeding Operations (CAFO) for protecting water, the likely advancement of air and atmosphere protections will be added to the mix.
Those involved in implementing their agenda of social engineering us away from meat consumption to a diet of more politically-correct food types need to be confronted as Blake Hurst has done here. It also demonstrates how important the work it is to fight against the legislative proposals in the U.S. Senate to enact Climate Change legislation. In spite of the promises for how agriculture will benefit, the truth is that this is just part of a much bigger game-plan to force agriculture away from the structure and systems that have been achieved, capable of feeding not only our country but hungry people throughout the world.
