The Financial Rewards Of Litigation To Destroy Livestock Grazing On Federal Lands

Those who say they are pursuing their cause in the interest of protecting our natural resources might actually be more inspired by the pay-offs they receive for their trouble.  This opinion piece in the Western Livestock Journal, written by attorney Karen Bud-Falen, presents a very compelling picture of how well rewarded they are as they use the courts to chase their agenda of no more livestock grazing on federally-managed lands.

Then, on top of the lawsuits for profit, they also attempt to persuade their financial supporters the noble nature of their cause, “protecting” nature’s fragile status from the greedy who seek to exploit the use of the lands.  Circulating these details and shining the light of day on similar information might cause some of the more thinking to wonder who actually qualifies for the “greedy” label…
