Now There’s A Source Of Information You Can Count On

When you are making up a story and you can get a bunch of like minds to swear by it, we’re then supposed to believe that the story is true. That’s what is behind the current public relations campaign by those who champion the myth of global climate change and the idea that we (people, especially those from countries with healthy economies) are the cause of the imagined increases in global temperatures. This report from the Environmental Working Group – a group that cashes lots of checks by convincing people that the environment needs them – is trying to sell the company line coming from various government agencies that we are teetering on the brink and all it will take to save us is to tax our energy prices high enough to force our economy over the cliff. Supposedly they want us to believe that the cure of Big Government is far better than the global warming (which isn’t even happening).
We appreciate the insights and straight thinking that Senator Saxby Chambliss is bringing to the conversation. The ranking member of the U.S. Senate Agriculture Committee rightly took the Environmental Working Group to task for spreading the bunk that they are shoveling. The work of U.S. Senators, like Senator Chambliss and others is making the difference in keeping the U.S. Senate from passing the same type of bogus government control measure that the House passed with the Waxman-Markey bill.
