Small Business Will Be Harmed By Proposed House Health Care Proposal

By:  Doug Busselman, Executive Vice President

We’ve been told that small business is the backbone of our national economy -- and rightly so, providing jobs and goods/services. Thanks to a friend who passed along this link, we read that our backbone is going to be hurting if the majority party in the U.S. House gets their way and the proposal that they held a pep-fest for last week is passed into law.  On top of the forced compliance features of the legislation that supposedly seeks to help us with medical care payments, there’s also the paying-for-it problem that those in Washington, D.C. can’t seem to figure out as being something that matters.

When Big Brother is the answer to everything, those people problems just get in the way of doing what’s good for us.  Whether we can afford it or not…

Not that we think it’s going to influence the representatives who are supposed to be working for us, but letting them know that you believe they should be held responsible in the next election for the damage that they are doing might help them give the matter at least enough thought to read the bill.
