The Party Votes To Take Over Health Care

By: Doug Busselman, Executive Vice President

Following the theme that there is no place where our federal government shouldn’t wield its control, the Party has determined that everyone will have health care payment coverage and in addition we’ll pay more taxes to achieve their goal.  The U.S. House passed the Party’s concept with both loyal members of the Party from Nevada, Congresswoman Berkley and Congresswoman Titus, helping to deliver greater government control and higher taxes.

Earlier there had been some doubt about whether Party member Titus would be a “Yes” vote.  When the matter was decided in Committee, Titus had voted against passage (although her “No” vote really had no consequences in an assured outcome).  Voting against the measure in the Committee gave her at least one vote she would be able to point at where she didn’t vote to expand government control and in favor of an increased tax load.  Since joining the ranks of the U.S. House there haven’t been very many times where the freshman Congresswoman hasn’t cast her supporting vote in favor of Big Brother’s expanded control and greater taxes.

Under the banner of the created crisis, Congresswoman Titus shared her intended support for passage of the Trillion-plus dollar government takeover of the health-care industry by stating in her e-mail newsletter… ”the status quo is no longer acceptable.”  She went on to further share,
“With Nevada families and small businesses suffering under the weight of rising health care costs, it is time to take action to reduce costs and increase access to health care.”
Thank goodness we have such a willing federal government, constantly looking for ways in which protection from life’s problems can be addressed.  All it takes is a command from the Party and our collective good is achieved.  (How soon will it be that the "suffering" Nevada families and small businesses come to understand that the true weight they are struggling to bear is really the costs of a never-satisfied government and the loss of access to opportunity?)

In the event that this solution should not live up to the reasons given for the required action, we can rest assured that more government will be available and the Party will convince us through their messaging of caring protection that their efforts for our own good are justified.
