The Pursuit Of Our Green Energy Utopia

By:  Doug Busselman, Executive Vice President

One of the major requirements for making it possible to establish a viable alternative, green energy infrastructure is to use central government’s ability for command and control to force currently affordable energy to costs more than it does – thereby making the green energy pencil out.  It also takes a lot of other people’s money to get an alternative energy system operational (another something that Big Brother government is really good at).

From reading this piece by John Meyers it sounds like our favorite gloom and doom prophet has been busy at his solar-powered word processor coming up with another tablet from the elite mountain top he sits upon.  Mr. Meyers also presents some very solid information on the reality of crashing reliable energy sources in order to make room for the sanctified sources of undependable energy, made possible through the leadership of our all-knowing government.

Alternative energy development is not a totally terrible idea.  To the extent that the development process can be carried out in a reasonable, non-forced manner – taking advantages of opportunities instead of the central planners requiring the outcome…let’s work to make it possible.  If it’s going to be crammed down our throats under the guise of invented science, government created crisis and basically the way it’s being done – Thanks, but no Thanks.
